What are the things you’re allowed to share and when?
Find out with Cathy Vartuli from http://www.TheIntimacyDojo and Reid Mihalko and http://www.ReidAboutSex.com.
Reid: Privacy. What you’re allowed to share, what you’re not allowed to share, when it is appropriate. This is Cathy Vartuli from http://www.TheintimacyDojo.com/.
Cathy: This is Reid Mihalko http://www.ReidAboutSex.com/.
Reid: Using a real life example. Boom!
Cathy: So, Reid was just looking something up on his phone while we were shooting a video so I thought it’s relation to the video and I was wanting to know what it was.
Reid: Oh, yeah and then I seizing this moment, this educational moment was like, I don’t know that I’m ready to tell you.
Cathy: What you’re entitled to do.
Reid: Oh, great.
Cathy: But you just said it has relationship to what we’re doing so..
Reid: Yeah and maybe I came down to a dead end or something where I can’t find what I needed or whatever.
Cathy: And you’re too ashame to admit of your failure?
Reid: Could be that I was too ashamed so I asked for privacy because of my shame spiral. It could be that sometimes it’s nobody’s business but in this case I said it’s about our thing.
Cathy: Yeah so I wasn’t sure how to move forward around that.
Reid: Okay. I appreciate that you’re waiting for me and thought that I would start the video with something, you know [inaudible 00:01:22]
Cathy: Yeah. Now they are all hitting unsubscribe.
Reid: Yeah. No, it’s bound to happen so we may never post this video. Leave your comments. Should we post this video or not? What are your thoughts on privacy? When is it somebody’s business and when is it not somebody’s business?
Cathy: Yeah, we would like to know.
Reid: No. Answer the question.
Cathy: Right but they can’t leave comments about we should post the video or not.
Reid: That was me being silly. Let’s talk about privacy.
